By using CurioByte, you agree to these Terms. Our goal is to provide a safe, respectful, and high-quality learning environment.

1. Service Description

CurioByte provides daily curated micro-learning content. We select high-quality educational videos, articles, and podcasts from around the web and organize them into "cards" for your discovery.

2. Account & Usage

  • You must provide a valid email to create an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
  • The service is intended for users 13 years of age and older.

3. Content Rights

Our Content

The app design, curation logic, original summaries, and "CurioByte" branding are owned by us. You may not copy or redistribute our proprietary content without permission.

Third-Party Content

CurioByte is a discovery tool. We link to external content (YouTube videos, articles, podcasts) which remains the property of its original creators. We do not claim ownership of these external works.

4. Disclaimer

We strive to curate only verified, high-quality sources (universities, museums, experts). However, we are not responsible for:

  • The accuracy of opinions expressed in external content.
  • Changes to or removal of content by the original creator.
  • The privacy practices of third-party platforms (e.g., YouTube) once you leave our app.

5. Subscriptions & Premium

CurioByte offers optional "Premium" subscriptions that unlock enhanced features. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

  • Billing: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Management: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID Account Settings.
  • Refunds: All payments are processed by Apple. We cannot issue refunds directly; please contact Apple Support for billing issues.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or attempt to compromise the security of the app.

7. Liability

CurioByte is provided "as is." We are not liable for any damages resulting from your use of the app or reliance on the content provided.
